Job Location Headquarter in Faridabad, Haryana with liability to serve anywhere in India.

Salary As per 7th CPC- Level-10 (Rs. 56100 – 177500/-) in the Pay Matrix Pre-revised Rs. 15,600-39,100 (PB-3) plus Rs. 5400 (Grade Pay). (Total emoluments excluding T.A. & HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 56100/- plus DA as applicable per month and as per DoPT guidelines.)

Qualification

A. Educational:-
M.Sc. Degree in Plant Pathology or M.Sc. Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Pathology or M.Sc. Degree in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology from a recognized University or Institution.

Note: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the UPSC in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

B. Experience:-
Three years of practical experience in the field of study of domestic and or foreign plant diseases related to plant viruses and plant bacteria.

Age Criteria Not exceeding 35 years

General Instructions a) Educational qualifications should be from a University/ Institution/Board recognised by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies and the result should have been declared on or before 30.09.2021.
b) Proper document from Board / University for having declared the result on or before 30.09.2021 has to be submitted at the time of interview.
c) The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate of the necessary qualification as on 30.09.2021.
Job Type & Vacancy It is a General Central Service Group ‘A’, Gazetted, (Non-Ministerial) post. The vacancies for the post are permanent. – 2
Job Details a) Quarantine/screening of plant propagating materials/seeds.
b) Post entry quarantine measures/ treatment of propagating materials. Adaptive research involving control measures.
c) Documentation of diseases reported and not reported in India and updating the same.
d) Preparation of manual of plant diseases of quarantine significance and updating from time to time.
e) Establishment of laboratories at quarantine stations for screening of diseases.

ii) Candidates must upload the documents/certificates in support of all the claims made by them in the application like Date of Birth, Experience (preferably in prescribed format), Desirable Qualification(s) etc. or any other information, separately against each claim in pdf file in such a way that the file size does not exceed 1 MB for the respective aforesaid modules and 2 MB for the “UPLOAD OTHER DOCUMENT” module and is legible when a printout is taken. For that purpose, the applicant may scan the documents/certificates in 200 dpi greyscale. Documents like Pay Slip, Resume, Appointment Letter, Relieving Letter, Un-signed Experience Certificate etc. must not be uploaded in the Document Upload Module
